Gigabyte's unique Dual Cooling System
delivers High Quality, Performance and Stability

Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd., a leader in both high-performance motherboards and 3D graphics accelerators, today announces it new invention in graphics field ˇV Dual Cooling System. As the well-known and breakthrough motherboard DualBIOS technology, Gigabyte has done it again with this unique design of Dual Cooling system, which installs a heatsink and fan combination on the front and a nice heatsink on the back of the graphics card, keeps the graphics processor really cool under pressure and let the clock frequencies crank! Since the graphics processor has serious good cooling, the temperature of it could be reduced (up to 44%) and at the same time increases the performance and stability of 3D acceleration.

The Dual Cooling system not only attaches an additional heatsink on the back, but also put together well with the spring tension method of attaching the main heatsink, which is much better than the traditional "glob of glue" method.

For example, the default settings of the engine and memory clock of a standard TNT2 Pro graphics accelerator are 143MHz and 166MHz. With the unique feature of Dual Cooling technology, the engine and memory frequencies of Gigabyte GA-660Plus TNT2 Pro graphics accelerator could be easily overclocked into 190Mhz and 190Mhz, and the temperature would be reduced about 32 degree which means performance and stability.

Gigabyte's current TNT2 series of 3D graphics accelerators, including GA-660Plus TNT2 Pro, GA-622 TNT2 M64 and GA-620 Vanta, have featured the Dual Cooling system already to insure a much cooler card than most of other same level cards came with only one heatsink and fan. This outstanding technology will also be implemented to entire Gigabyteˇ¦s graphics accelerators in the future.
